Choose the Perfect Grass

Choosing the perfect grass for you isn’t as hard as you might think. Here at Purchase Green we have a simple, five-step process that makes it easy to get exactly what you want. First, determine the application your artificial grass is going to be intended for. We break it down into landscapes, pet areas, putting greens, playgrounds and sports.

Let’s say you choose landscape. Then the next step is identifying how much foot traffic your new lawn will get. A lot, a medium amount or not much at all. Once you know that then it’s on to step three.

Step three is all about choosing the profile of your artificial grass. What sort of finish do you want? Matte, shiny or somewhere in between? What about texture? Is softness important? While all our grasses are green, there are different shades and blends. Find the color that looks best to you. You’ll also want to look at the actual shape of the grass blades. Some shapes, such as V or Mini W, are better for high foot traffic. Lastly, you’ll want to decide if temperature-controlled grass is important to you. Many of our grasses feature our Cool Yarn technology while others do not.
