Calculations and Measurements

All artificial grasses as well as weed barrier and XPE shock pad are sold by the sq. ft. so it is important you know how to perform this calculation.

Square Footage

Rectangle or Square: Length * Width
Triangle: 1/2 * base * height of the triangle
Circle: 3.14 * radius * radius

Linear Foot

This is simply the length (see Definitions). The following items are sold by the LF:

This calculation is necessary when shipping artificial grass rolls via a LTL (Less Than Truckload) carrier that specializes in handling carpet, such as Xpress Global and Shephard & Watkins. It is the square footage of the roll divided by 9.
