A Potty Pad is the solution to all your dog’s potty problems.

You want to make sure that your dog gets plenty of exercise. But when nature calls at inopportune times, you need alternative options. Fast.

Your Dog’s Health is at Stake

It’s heartbreaking to think of a well-trained dog having to suffer due to circumstances beyond their control. Yes, they can hold it in – for a great many hours at a time, if necessary. However, particularly when they have to do so too frequently, it can be very detrimental to their health.

According to the Healthy Pet Coach, this will lead to a urinary tract infection, just as it does with humans. What makes it worse, though, is that it can be much more difficult to spot when a dog has a UTI. And if it goes untreated too long, the consequences can be dire. WebMD spells it out:

“Untreated lower urinary problems can lead to serious medical problems in addition to causing discomfort for your pet. Bladder infections can move to the kidneys and cause life-threatening infections. Stones can cause partial or complete obstruction of the urethra, preventing a dog from urinating. This medical emergency can lead to kidney failure and/or rupture of the bladder, and can prove fatal if the obstruction is not relieved right away.”

Timing is Crucial

The American Animal Hospital says that dogs usually need to poop after they eat, and urinate at a minimum of every 8 to 10 hours. For those whose workdays last 8 or 9 hours and have longish commutes, the time frame is going to be very tight on a daily basis. Even those who have doggie doors leading out to a private yard may have pets who don’t like going out in bad weather.

For apartment dwellers, and others who don’t have the luxury of doggie doors and private yards, there are even more times when taking the dog out on time can be difficult. In addition to problems with the weather, sometimes dog owners are running late, stuck in traffic, sick in bed, or unavoidably detained.

It’s a shame to make dogs suffer, when it’s no longer necessary for them to do so, because now there is outdoor turf for dogs.

Outdoor Turf for Dogs Can Change Your Life

When you just can’t make multiple trips outside with your dog, pet potty turf patches can be a lifesaver. They are simply patches of artificial turf, available in different sizes, which are laid over reusable pads that absorb waste. Maintenance is easy, simply wash with water and either soap or vinegar.

The turf and pads can be placed on porches or balconies, but are perfectly usable indoors, as well. They are odor resistant, and frequent users can further keep odor under control by using a special enzyme cleaner 2 or 3 times a month. Even dog owners with yards may want to consider using outdoor turf. It’s much more environmentally friendly.

  • Not having to water lawns significantly improves water conservation.
  • Lawns which don’t require mowing decrease gas pollution.
  • Outdoor turf doesn’t need harsh pesticides.

Take the worry and stress out of your pet’s potty problems. That’s what Potty Pads are for.
