It goes without saying that this year was… different. Like everyone else, we started off this year with big plans. But plans get turned on their head, and you learn to roll with the punches. Our 2020 didn’t go the way we anticipated, and we’re okay with that. Despite a pandemic and some working from home, we managed to get a lot done!
We wanted to reflect on this year and go back to the New Year’s blog we wrote last year, just to see how things have changed.
2019 to 2020
At this time last year, we were excited to join forces with Controlled Products, LLC., an artificial grass manufacturer based in Dalton, Georgia. This year, our teams’ synergy has been incredible. We’ve been able to collaborate on a variety of endeavors and projects, and we’re super grateful for it. In our end-of-2019 blog, we also introduced you to the Office of Business Management; we’re the ones who post these blogs (in addition to a TON of other initiatives). We predicted we’d have a lot to do in 2020, and boy, were we right. Our blog said, “Right now, we’re just four people in a room.” Between a couple of new hires and some remote work, we can tell you that that definitely changed. But we are looking forward to what 2021 will bring. We have big plans!
2020 – What a year!
Our company experienced tremendous, unanticipated growth this year, and we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone here at Purchase Green who showed up and did an amazing job. You are all truly essential, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.We also want to extend a special welcome to the new stores we opened this year. First, our Southern Colorado location in Castle Rock, CO. Jim, Ryan, and all the folks over there have put a lot into their store, and we are happy to have them be apart of the PG family. Just in the past month, we’ve opened two more locations. We opened our Camarillo, CA location at the end of November and our Houston, TX location earlier this month.We have a lot of store openings planned for 2021; some of them are in states we’ve never been in before! That’s right – new year, new stores, new states.
As the opening dates creep closer, we’ll keep you informed on the who, what, where of those new locations. And to finish off our “Purchase Green 2020 Wrapped,” we want to thank all of our contractors, dealers, and DIY’ers who continue to support us. We know the year has not been easy, and we sincerely thank you for your loyalty and for your business. That’s it from us for 2020. Have a safe and happy New Year, and we’ll see you in 2021!
