What is a perfect lawn? Is it one that always looks green and healthy? Is it the lawn that’s the most environmentally friendly? Perhaps it’s the lawn about which neighbors will grudgingly admit is simply the best on the block.

Whatever your definition of the perfect lawn is, Purchase Green can help you achieve it.

It turns out having the perfect lawn is actually really easy. Follow these 9 “secret” steps and soon your lawn will be the pride (and probably envy!) of your neighborhood!

1. Get some free samples from Purchase Green

Did you know that we love giving away free stuff? It’s true! Stop by your local Purchase Green showroom and we’ll be glad to give you as many free samples of artificial grass as you can carry. If you can’t make it to one of our showrooms, you can order samples online, which are also free.

2. Determine what your perfect new lawn will be used for

Have you ever thought much about what you actually use your lawn for? You might think instinctively that you spend a lot of time on it…but do you? What about kids or pets? Do you have a pool? Is it a big lawn or a small lawn? The primary purpose of your lawn will play a big role in choosing the right Purchase Green grass.

3. Get a free estimate from Purchase Green

Like we said, giving away free stuff is all part of the Purchase Green experience! So why not add a free estimate to your list? We’ll be glad to come by at your convenience and provide you a realistic assessment of your lawn and what it will cost to transform it into the perfect lawn.

4. Decide whether you want to do it yourself or have it installed

A little hard work never hurt anyone, so maybe you’d like to save money and install artificial grass yourself. If so, that’s great! We have a ton of resources to help you do just that. On the other hand, maybe you’d rather have a nice, cool drink while we do the hard work for you. If so, we’re happy to get you setup with a professional installation.

5. Choose the right grass

You have your samples and your estimate. You know what you want to use your lawn for and you know whether or not you’re going to install artificial grass yourself. The only left is making that final decision about which variety of grass is right for you. Again, we’re glad to help you out on this one too. Your friendly Purchase Green representative will happily explain the features of each of our grasses. Our goal is to make sure you not only get the best product at the best price, but that you get the product that’s right for you. We even have a short quiz you can take to help figure it out.

6. Be prepared

If you choose to do the installation yourself, make sure you’re prepared. Our Knowledge Base is your guide to getting ready for installation. From supplies checklist to installation strategies to video tutorials, we’ve got your covered with everything you need.

7. Read up on seaming techniques

Seaming may or may not be a part of your artificial grass installation. If you’ve chosen to install yourself and your installation will require seams, be sure to read up on seaming techniques and watch our videos of how to properly seam! It will make a big difference in the end and you’ll be much happier with the final result.

8. Don’t forget the infill!

Once you’ve done all the hard work of installing your beautiful new artificial grass, don’t make the mistake of forgoing infill. Infill is super-important and will help ensure you get the longest life and most enjoyment out of your lawn. It might seem like a step you can skip but don’t do it.

9. Bask in the glory

The last step in creating your perfect lawn is to look upon your beautiful new grass. Ideally, you’ll want to stand in direct sunlight with your feet spread at about should-width. Make fists with your hands and place them on your hips. Turn your head slightly to the left or right (your choice) and nod ever so slightly. Continue in this fashion while exuding satisfaction and pride.

Congratulations! You now have the perfect lawn!
