Artificial Grass for Yarn Types
One of the most important aspects of any variety of artificial grass is best appreciated close up. Like really, REALLY close up. At Purchase Green we design our grasses using seven different yarn types, each offering a unique shape and set of attributes. The shape of the grass blade is related to how the grass looks, feels and performs. This section is designed to help you learn about the benefits offered each of our yarn types.
Ever heard of the yarn so nice we made it twice? People adored our Diamond-shaped yarn so we wanted to see what would happen if we created a Double Diamond-shape. The result is a spectacular yarn found only in our amazing Fescue Supreme.
Fescue Supreme is one of the tallest, lushest and most durable artificial grass products on the market today. It uses the latest technology in yarn extrusion. The Double Diamond-shaped blade is designed for superior memory – a key characteristic for this nearly 2.4″ tall, 108 oz. face weight product. It is a very natural looking olive bi-color grass with an olive green and tan thatch with a medium sheen.
The Double Diamond shape the result of the very latest in yarn extrusion technology. This creates a very durable grass that boasts an extremely soft and pleasing feel. Because of these features, grasses with Double Diamond-shaped yarn are truly multipurpose and will perform great just about anywhere.
Color: The Double Diamond yarn is an olive bicolor grass with a green and tan thatch. Fescue Supreme, our exclusive grass featuring the Double Diamond, looks especially beautiful when paired with coastal or southwestern-style architecture.
Design: Fescue Supreme is in a class by itself thanks to the characteristics of the Double Diamond shape. Perfect for every day applications but also nearly as luxuriant as California Pro, Fescue Supreme is lush and lovely with great performance.
Performance: Speaking of performance, the Double Diamond shape brings us ever closer to the perfect balance of form and function. As noted, it feels great. Usually that means sacrificing some performance. But the Double Diamond shape, it turns out, is great for almost any residential application – even as a putting green fringe!
